01Who we are

Medcue (“Medcue,” “we,” “us”) is a study resource for medical learners, operated under the trading name Medcue by ANAMO PTY LTD (ABN pending), an Australian company. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy and Refunds Policy.

02What Medcue is (and isn’t)

Medcue provides original practice questions, worked explanations, custom timed sessions, optional Viva stations, Recall cards, Gotcha notes, progress reports, and invitation-based Arena and Viva partner practice to help you prepare for medical examinations such as the AMC examinations and Australian medical-school assessments.

  • Educational content only. Nothing on Medcue is medical advice, and it must not be used to diagnose or treat any person. Always rely on current clinical guidelines and appropriate supervision in practice.
  • Not affiliated. Medcue is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) or any university. “AMC” is used only to describe the examinations our materials help you prepare for.
  • Marked against guides, not by examiners. If you use an AI assessor feature when available, it evaluates attempts against human-authored Australian marking guides. It is not an AMC examiner and does not replicate official marking.
  • A Verdict is an estimate, not a promise. The progress report summarises submitted practice on an internal Medcue scale and indicates when more practice data is needed. It is a study aid, not a guarantee or prediction of any examination outcome, and we can’t and don’t guarantee any exam result.

03Your account

  • You must provide accurate details and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
  • An account is for a single person. Don’t share your login or let others use your access.
  • Student is the universal Medcue membership for medical learners; no enrolment verification is required to subscribe.
  • You must be at least 18 and a tertiary student or graduate. Medcue is not directed to children.

04Membership, billing & auto-renewal

  • The membership. Paid base access is sold only as Student, with monthly, three-month, and six-month billing choices. Each cadence unlocks the same complete question pool and included learning tools.
  • Auto-renewal. Monthly, three-month, and six-month Student subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle at the amount shown at checkout, until you cancel.
  • Viva add-on. Viva Interactive is a separate A$6.99/month recurring add-on and requires an active Student membership. All candidate Viva access requires this add-on. The current Viva tools support partner and self-marking. Automated Viva assessment is not currently included. The conditional AI-assessor provisions below apply only if that feature becomes available and you choose to use it.
  • Founders offer. An eligible new monthly Student membership is A$19.99 for each of its first three monthly invoices, then renews at A$39.99/month until cancelled. It does not apply to the three- or six-month cadences and cannot be combined with another promotion.
  • Pricing & GST. Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that cycle.
  • Price changes. We may change prices or features for future billing cycles. If a change affects you, we’ll give reasonable notice before it takes effect so you can decide whether to continue.
  • Free tier. Without a paid membership you keep the fixed 20-question diagnostic and Learning previews. Free and base-only accounts do not receive candidate Viva access.
  • Payments. Payments and subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We don’t store your full card details. Discount codes, where offered, apply at checkout.

05Cancellation & refunds

  • Cancel anytime from Account. Open Account, choose Cancel membership, and confirm. You can do this at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then simply doesn’t renew. There’s no lock-in and no phone call.
  • 14-day money-back. Your first payment on a new membership is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. See the Refunds Policy for how it works.
  • Pass Guarantee (make-good). Where advertised, prepaid terms of three months or longer carry a conditional make-good: complete at least 80% of your prescribed program, sit the exam, and if you don’t pass we add three months free. It is a goodwill make-good on the stated conditions — not a refund, an outcome claim, or a “pay when you pass” arrangement. Details in the Refunds Policy.
  • Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (section 9).

06Acceptable use

Medcue is for your own private study. You agree not to:

  • copy, record, screenshot for distribution, scrape, or bulk-download the content;
  • share, resell, sublicense or publish any question, explanation, marking guide or station;
  • use the content to build or train a competing product or dataset;
  • use partner practice for anything other than study — no advertising, harassment or solicitation;
  • attempt to breach security, access other users’ data, or disrupt the service.

07Our content & your licence

All questions, explanations, viva stations, marking guides, Verdict reports, images and other materials on Medcue are original works owned by ANAMO PTY LTD or its licensors and are protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own exam preparation while your membership is active. This licence ends if your access ends or if you breach these terms.

08Your notes, partner practice & voice

You may add private notes to questions, submit issue reports, join invitation-based partner practice, and — when you use the AI Examiner — record spoken answers. You keep ownership of your notes, listings and recordings; you grant us a licence to store and process them so we can provide and improve the service (for example, to transcribe a station and mark the transcript against its human-authored marking guide). Issue reports may be used to review and improve our content.

  • Partner practice uses invitation codes or links. Review the information shown before you share an invitation. Medcue does not currently provide a public partner-listing board.
  • Don’t submit anything unlawful, and never include real patient information — in notes, listings or spoken answers.
  • How we handle your voice recordings and transcripts is set out in the Privacy Policy.

09Your consumer rights

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right or remedy you have under that law. Where we are permitted to limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

10Disclaimers & liability

Subject to section 9, the service and its content are provided on an “as is” basis for educational use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the content for clinical decisions, for exam outcomes, or for interruptions to the service. Any progress report, practice score or AI-Examiner feedback is a study aid — not a professional assessment, and not a guarantee or prediction of your result. You remain responsible for confirming clinical information against current guidelines, and for your own decision about when to book or sit an examination.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change we’ll update the “last reviewed” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Medcue after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
